Day 1: Leh Arrival

Hello and Julley! Welcome to Leh, where your dream adventure begins. Upon your arrival at the airport, we will greet you and transfer you to your hotel. Today is reserved for acclimatization, so it’s important to rest and adjust to the altitude. In the evening, if you feel up to it, you can explore the Leh bazaar, visit the serene Shanti Stupa, and take a tour of the historic Leh Palace. Enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2: Leh to Sham Valley (35 Kms – 1 Hr One Way)

After a hearty breakfast, prepare for the day’s adventures. Our journey will take us through the captivating landscapes of Leh. Visit the Hall of Fame museum, dedicated to the Indian soldiers, and feel the mysterious pull of Magnetic Hill. Offer your prayers at the Gurudwara Pathar Sahib and marvel at the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar rivers. On our return to Leh, you’ll have another chance to experience the Magnetic Hill. End the day with a delightful dinner and overnight stay in Leh.

Day 3: Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La Pass (125 Kms – 5 Hrs)

Start your morning with an exhilarating drive to Khardung La Pass, once the world’s highest motorable road at 18,400 feet. We’ll continue to Diskit, the heart of Nubra Valley, renowned for its ancient monastery dating back to the 14th century. Discover the serenity and spirituality of this historic site, home to a massive Maitreya Buddha statue, inaugurated by the Dalai Lama. Later, visit the enchanting sand dunes of Nubra Valley and enjoy a unique double-hump camel ride. These camels are rare, found only in India and Mongolia. Unwind after a day of exploration with an overnight stay in camps at Hunder Village.

Day 4: Turtuk Day Excursion (90 Kms – One Way)

After breakfast, we’ll set off for Turtuk Village, a charming place recaptured from Pakistan in 1971. Visit the LOC side, including Thang and Tyakshi Village. Turtuk, part of Baltistan, offers a unique cultural experience with its predominantly Muslim population. Engage with the friendly locals and savor the delicious apricots, a major source of income. Explore Turtuk Waterfall and Turtuk Museum, and enjoy views of the majestic K2 peak. Spend the night in Nubra.

Day 5: Nubra to Pangong via Shyok (160 Kms – 5 Hrs)

Following breakfast, take a leisurely stroll to observe the lifestyle of people in this northernmost region of India. We’ll then proceed to the breathtaking Pangong Lake via the Shyok Route. This saltwater lake stretches 120 km, with two-thirds lying in China. Visit the iconic location from the movie “Three Idiots” and enjoy a day by the lake’s banks. The lake’s clear waters display a stunning array of seven colors. Rest and recharge overnight at Pangong.

Day 6: Pangong to Leh (130 Kms – 5 Hrs)

Prepare to be mesmerized by the first view of Pangong Lake, a sight that will leave you spellbound. After a fulfilling day and a sumptuous dinner, we’ll journey back to Leh, crossing the majestic Changla Pass at 17,350 feet, one of the highest motorable roads in the world. Enroute, visit Rancho School (popularly known as 3 Idiot School), and explore the Thikshey and Shey Monasteries. Conclude the day with an overnight stay at your hotel in Leh.

Day 7: Departure

After breakfast, it’s time to bid farewell to the mystical land of Ladakh. Depart with cherished memories of your extraordinary journey and the breathtaking beauty of this unique region. Safe travels!
