Day 1: Arrival in Leh

Hello and Julley! Your dream journey begins as you arrive in Leh. Today is an acclimatization day, allowing your body to adjust to the high altitude—resting is crucial. In the evening, take a leisurely walk through Leh Bazaar and explore nearby sights. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2: Leh Local Sightseeing

After a hearty breakfast, get ready for a day of exploration! Begin with a visit to the Shanti Stupa, an iconic Buddhist structure with breathtaking views. Then, discover the fascinating exhibits at the Hall of Fame, experience the mysterious pull of Magnetic Hill, and seek blessings at Gurudwara Pathar Sahib. Witness the Indus-Zanskar river confluence, a mesmerizing sight. In the evening, visit Leh Palace, a stunning architectural marvel. Return to the hotel for dinner and a restful overnight stay.

Day 3: Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La

Start the day with an adventurous drive over Khardung La Pass (18,400 ft), one of the highest motorable roads in the world. Continue to Diskit, the heart of Nubra Valley, to visit the Diskit Monastery, dating back to the 14th century. Behold the magnificent Maitreya Buddha statue, inaugurated by HH Dalai Lama.

Later, experience the sand dunes of Hunder Village, where you can enjoy a double-humped camel ride, a rare sight found only in India and Mongolia. End the day with an overnight stay in a camp under the starry Nubra sky.

Day 4: Turtuk or Siachen Base Camp Excursion

After breakfast, visit Diskit Monastery, and if time permits, opt for an ATV ride (personal expense). Continue to Turtuk, a unique village in Baltistan, formerly under Pakistani control until 1971. Engage with the welcoming locals, sample delicious apricots, and explore the Turtuk Museum and Turtuk Waterfall. Take in the majestic view of K2 Peak while strolling through the village. Return for dinner and an overnight stay in Nubra Valley.

Day 5: Nubra to Pangong via Shyok Route

After breakfast, explore Diskit and Hunder Villages and visit local monasteries. Then, set off for Pangong Lake via the scenic Shyok Route. This breathtaking saltwater lake, spanning 120 km, is partly shared between India and China. Visit the iconic site from the movie Three Idiots, and immerse yourself in the surreal beauty of the lake. On a sunny day, the waters glisten in seven distinct shades—a sight to behold! Overnight stay in a lakeside camp.

Day 6: Pangong to Leh via Chang La Pass

Wake up to the mesmerizing views of Pangong Lake. After breakfast, begin your journey back to Leh, crossing Chang La Pass (17,350 ft), the third-highest motorable road in the world. En route, visit the Rancho School (3 Idiots fame), Thiksey Monastery, and Shey Palace. Arrive in Leh and relax at your hotel, reflecting on the adventures of the past days.

Day 7: Departure from Leh

After breakfast, bid farewell to the mystical landscapes of Ladakh, taking home cherished memories of your incredible journey.
